2020 Geocoding System
The Office of Management and Budget did not publish any MSA or MetroDiv changes. For 2020 activity, select ‘2020’ from the drop down menu when collecting geocoding information.

2019 Geocoding System
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released the revised delineations of Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in September 14, 2018. The new MSA definitions apply to CRA & HMDA data collected on or after January 1, 2019 and incorporated in the 2019 Census data and Geocoding System. For 2019 activity, select ‘2019’ from the drop down menu when collecting geocoding information.

2018 Geocoding System
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released the revised delineations of Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs) in April 10, 2018. The bulletin updates and supercedes OBM Bulletin No. 17-01 issued on August 15, 2017. The new MSA definitions apply to CRA & HMDA data collected on or after January 1, 2018 and incorporated in the 2018 Census data and Geocoding System. For 2018 activity, select ‘2018’ from the drop down menu when collecting geocoding information.
